The emotional scenes came after she risked her life to try and find her AWOL husband.
Adam left the soap earlier this year after being accused of Emma Barton’s murder.
Victoria had believed her man was a murderer and had run off and left her.
When she discovered that he was innocent, she became convinced that he didn’t want to leave her and decided she would try to find him so they could reunite.
But tonight she found out from Matt, Rob and Aaron that he has "meet someone new" whilst being on the run.
The news left Victoria devastated, with her exclaiming, "I thought he loved me!"
Fans rushed to Twitter to show sympathy for her with one saying: "vic's face when she found out about adam… my heart is breaking for her #emmerdale"
While another tweeted: "Oh Vic, sweetheart #Emmerdale"
This one commented: "Victoria loves Adam so much, and.. what a bombshell for poor Victoria about Adam meeting someone else!! #Emmerdale"
Earlier she had risked her life to try and find him.
Victoria was desperate to find her husband and this evening was told that he was in Portugal – but dodgy Private Investigator Glen told her it would cost her £5,000 to find him.
As she set off with Glen to a dockyard, cash in her pocket, she ran into Matty, who knew for a fact that his brother is NOT in Portugal, so he stole the envelope containing the money from Victoria.
However, he failed to realise that this had put her in danger because she didn't have Glen's money.
So when Victoria came to pay Glen for the information, she didn't have the money and things quickly turned nasty.
When he realised she had no cash he threatened her and Victoria legged it.
Luckily she managed to fight him off, only to find out that Adam had no intention of coming back to her, and had settled into his new life.
