Emmerdale will air a shock exit for Kim Tate tonight (October 12) as her return stint comes to an end.
Claire King has reprised her role as the iconic character for this week’s unmissable episodes, but we always knew that she was only ever back for one-week only.
Kim is currently recovering in hospital after being shoved from an upstairs balcony at Home Farm in Thursday night’s double bill (October 11).

Although the culprit has yet to be confirmed, Charity has been arrested for the crime, coming under suspicion from the police as she’d publicly threatened Kim at the ball earlier on.
While fans are pondering if Charity really is the culprit, there are more twists to come as Kim abruptly departs in Friday’s scenes.
Further details of how Kim comes to leave again are being kept under wraps, but given her determination to head back to Home Farm, it’s clear that something must go very wrong.
What happens to crumble Kim’s plans? Or is she fearing for her life after being pushed? All will be revealed later on…
