Fans of the soap flocked to Twitter to declare she'll never get that kind of money for a "clapped out" old car.
She put the car up for sale this week, and in tonight's episode it attracted some interest.
Keanu wandered past and took a photo of the price sticker on his phone.
However, Hayley soon burst his bubble by declaring: "You can't afford that!"
Viewers agreed, and they insisted Sonia was totally wrong for trying to sell a 23-year-old car for such a high price.
One tweeted: "Sonia’s delusional if she thinks she’ll get a grand for a 1995 fiat punto!!! #EastEnders."
Another added: "£1000 for an M reg punto?? Sonia is having a laugh isn't she?! #EastEnders."
A third stated: "@Eastenders £1K for Sonia’s “M – Reg” clapped out Fiat Punto! On yer bike! Lol #eastenders."
One more agreed: "Sonia’s pushing it asking £1000 for that car! #EastEnders."
Sonia put the car up for sale to help pay tuition fees for her daughter Bex.
However, Bex later decided to go out and earn the money herself.
The car was off the market by the end of the episode.
