The Chase quiz host travels across the US with dashing son Barney for new ITV series Breaking Dad — and is challenged by his lad to join him in a series of dares including leaping from a plane at 12,000ft and braving an alligator-infested swamp.
It is the first time the pair have teamed up on TV, though Barney has had small acting parts in the past.
Speaking about it at a fan event, Bradley said: “I’m knackered. We’ve been in the US with ITV making a series where we travel from LA to New Orleans in a big RV like Breaking Bad.
“We are not cooking crystal meth. It’s called Breaking Dad, as Barney does things with me that I would never normally do. He put me out of my comfort zone.”
And a sonic screwdriver could have come in handy at times. He added: “When we were on the road my son said, ‘Right we are going to feed you to an alligator.’
“We were on a tiny boat in an alligator-infested swamp in New Orleans. I was like, ‘Christ alive!’ I was shaking when we got on the boat.
“And before that my son said to me ‘We have this for you . . .’ And they took me to the French quarter and a lovely old jazz steam boat on the Mississippi. My son said, ‘Dad, would you get up and sing a song with the band?’ I said, ‘Sure’.”
It doesn’t sound like that was too much out of his comfort zone.

SHE won a huge following in Channel 4’s Humans and is taking on Hollywood but Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan admits to serious social anxiety.
The British actress, who dated Jack Whitehall before her current beau Dominic Cooper, insists she is very shy in real life.
Gemma revealed: “I get massive anxiety.
“I am not that famous and I don’t feel that I get recognised that much. This anxiety existed way before I was even an actress.
“I’ve walked into places and had to do a circuit and walk straight back out. It’s funny.”
Speaking on the Is It Just Me? podcast, she added: “I’ve been able to eat on my own lately.
“I take a book to read. I’m naturally very shy.”
She is about to become even better known across the Pond, with her new movie already set for a sequel.

Derren's litteny of abuse
BENIDORM creator Derren Litten used his show’s win at this week’s TV Choice Awards to slam ITV bosses who axed the show.
Accepting the Best Comedy gong at the bash at London’s Dorchester hotel, he compared the win to “being named employee of the month after you’ve been sacked”.
He added, sarcastically: “I’ve got huge respect for ITV – any channel that can have a show with 5.5million viewers and picking up awards and still cancels it… they’ve got bigger balls than me.”
Derren confirmed the show was cancelled in July after ten series, but he initially denied it was getting the chop when I exclusively revealed the bombshell news in March.
On Monday night he admitted he had been drinking and even turned on the audience, saying: “The fans of Benidorm – I think they’re the waiters outside because no f***er in here likes it, judging by that round of applause.”
Perhaps they were drowned out by the sound of you grinding that axe, Derren.

Naughty Nadia's dumped
CELEBS Go Dating expert Nadia Essex has a date – with the dole queue.
The presenter has been sensationally booted off the E4 reality show after being caught using fake accounts to troll Twitter users.
It means she will not appear in the rest of the fifth season, which is still being filmed ahead of its October air date.
A telly source said: “Bosses have made the decision following an investigation into Nadia’s use of social media.
“She was found to be setting up fake accounts to troll certain users, which is something that won’t be tolerated.”
Nadia’s exit will be a huge blow for producers who have now lost both original co-hosts after Eden Blackman quit this year over his frosty relationship with Nadia.
They’ll be hoping to avert disaster with a bumper line-up that includes Love Island’s Eyal Booker and Olivia Attwood as well as the former Sugababes singer Mutya Buena.
