David Walliams looks happy in hotpants as he pokes fun at Robbie Williams and recreates Take That's famous Do What You Like video

During Judges Houses, the comedian poked fun at his pal Robbie Williams in a tribute to his heyday.

Not one to shy away from playing dress up, David Walliams took poking fun at his mate Robbie Williams to a whole new level.

Clad in black hotpants and not much else, David wore a leather jacket with matching leather codpiece.

The Little Britain star looked elated to be rocking the iconic outfits worn by Take That back in 1991.

David was helping out his friend Robbie as mentor for the groups at at his LA home in the Judges Houses episode of the show.

And ever the comedian, David made sure to draw in the laughs with the hilarious getup.

He was paying homage to the video of Take That's debut single Do What U Like.

In the iconic video the gang are all dressed in revealing, leather ensembles as they dance and get jelly and cream thrown at them.

And it seems that David wanted to give Robbie a reminder of his cheesy pop past.

The hilarious antic comes after it was revealed that Robbie and his wife Ayda Field gatecrashed Simon Cowell's glamorous house party held for 50 guest X Factor judges.

The married pair were determined not to miss out on the mega soiree when Simon gathered stars at his LA mansion to watch the girls perform during the Judges' Houses stage of the ITV show.

Speaking about Robbie, 44, and Ayda, 39, spying on him and his acts, Simon admitted that he didn't mind the intrusion and revealed: "Oh it was hilarious. I said to them, “Your Judges’ Houses better be as good as mine.

"But, you know what, the girls all said to me, 'We'll never forget this night for the rest of our lives.'"

The 58-year-old boss is delighted with the couple's passion for his show, adding: "The fact that you can work with people who are friends but are also passionate about the show and their acts is brilliant.

"They genuinely love the show. They know more about the show than I do! So that's why it's been so much fun."

The Judges' Houses stage was shown on TV this weekend – with Simon's glitzy airing last night.

But fans will have to wait until next week to see David's hilarious recreation of the Take That hit.
