Coronation Street's Sean Tully has a shocking romance plan for rapist Josh Tucker

Coronation Street‘s Sean Tully attempts to play cupid for rapist Josh Tucker in a worrying twist next week.

Sean (Antony Cotton) remains unaware of Josh’s true colours when he sets up home with him and Billy in upcoming scenes.

Josh has spent the past few weeks recovering from a vicious attack which left him blind, but he’s about to be told that he can return home again.

With no friends and family to rely on as he continues his recovery, the evil character turns to Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) for help as soon as he’s released.

Although Billy has reservations about allowing Josh to move in, Sean welcomes him with open arms – completely oblivious that he’s now living with a rapist.

With Sean unaware that Josh subjected David Platt to a shocking sexual attack earlier this year, he wonders if his new housemate could be a good match for Emma Brooker.

Feeling uncomfortable, Billy quickly points out that Josh is not boyfriend material – before later deciding that their new living arrangements aren’t going to work.

After a difficult discussion with David, Billy realises that he needs to tell Josh to leave, but how will he react?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, September 26 on ITV.
