Tracy – who is played by Kate Ford in the ITV soap – is left consumed with guilt after a distraught Abi collapses after taking drugs.
Abi is in pieces when she makes the upsetting decision that her twins – Charlie and Lexi – are actually better off without her and decides to put them up for adoption.
Turning to drugs to mask her pain, Abi – former Shameless star Sally Carmen – overdoses and is found by Tracy who calls her an ambulance.
As she’s loaded in by the paramedics, Abi’s son Seb confesses to Tracy that Abi’s life has imploded since she was accused of sabotaging the car.
Later Tracy visits Abi in hospital and comes clean, telling her friend that she tampered with the car after believing Abi had been sleeping with Steve McDonald.
Abi is mortified by Tracy’s confession and throws Tracy out of the hospital, unable to believe what she’s heard.
Later Abi is discharged and heartbroken when the social worker tells her that contact with Lexi and Charlie has been suspended because of her relapse.
Abi is distraught and tells Seb that she’s putting the twins up for adoption. She also tells him about Tracy’s confession, leaving Seb seeing red.
Furious, Seb lets himself into Preston’s Petals and trashes the place with a broom. Abi hears the commotion from outside and tries to stop him, but she spotted by Tracy’s dad – Ken Barlow – who thinks Abi’s responsible for wrecking the florist.
