Coronation Street spoiler: Ryan Connor’s life in danger as drug dealer Ronan Truman finds out the truth about his son’s death

As the week on the cobbles kicks off, a desperate Ryan asks Sophie Webster to lie to the police and back up his side of the story.

Cormac will die later this week after a bad reaction to drugs and Ryan not calling an ambulance.

Ryan, played by Ryan Prescott, will tell the cops that he left the flat and when he came back Cormac was dead.

He admits to Sophie that he panicked and didn’t call an ambulance, asking her to back up his version of events. But will she go along with it when the police arrive at Speed Dahl and ask Sophie about Cormac’s death?

Ronan then arrives on the Street and thanks Ryan, Ali Neeson and Michelle Connor for all they did for Cormac, leaving them uneasy.

Ryan is left feeling terrified later when Robert Preston shows him and Michelle a report about the drug dealer that supplied Cormac being found dead – was Ronan behind it?

Ryan feels awful and blames himself for both deaths while Sophie’s older lover Paula Cunliffe tells Sophie she needs to tell the truth.

Meanwhile, a scared Ryan reveals he’s planning on doing a runner and suggests that Ali, James Burrows, does the same.

But Ali refuses and the police soon arrive. They find the bag of pills that Cormac stashed on Ryan in his jacket pocket and Ryan’s plans to run away are thwarted when he’s arrested and taken to the police station.

At his police interview, Ryan finally confesses the truth about not calling an ambulance. The police warn him that if the pills found in his pocket match the ones that killed Cormac, he’s in big trouble.

Back on the outside, words of Ryan’s arrest has reached Ronan and he confronts Michelle, telling her he’ll be waiting for Ryan when he gets out.

Will Ronan want revenge on Ryan for his son’s death? We’re thinking, yes.
