Coronation Street fans get distracted by a very rude-shaped object in the background

Coronation Street has been delivering a lot of brilliant, yet heavy-going episodes recently when it comes to Sinead Tinker’s cervical cancer storyline, but at least viewers can still find humour in the small moments.

Take last night’s (October 31) second episode, for example, as while Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) were discussing being blindsided by tragedy in life, viewers had their eyes on a little something in the background.

Or make that a big giant something in the background that may or may not have brought something else to mind.

Yep. That there is what shall hereafter be known as the Corrie Kebab Meat Penis – and it’s safe to say that it’s put Corrie viewers right off ever grabbing a drunken meal at the Prima Doner.

Although, it must be said that there were other viewers who were more disgusted by the fact the meat doesn’t look like it’s been cooked:

Either way, we haven’t been this shocked by a Corrie business since finding out the bistro charges £6.95 for one glass of prosecco.

Last night’s episodes also saw Sinead make the heartbreaking decision to refuse more cancer treatment after being started on a mild dose of chemotherapy which poses less of a risk to the baby.

As she refused to schedule in another appointment with the oncology department, upcoming scenes will see Sinead lie to Daniel over her treatment and start looking into alternative natural therapies instead – but how long can she keep Daniel in the dark?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
