Chris Ramsey’s wife Rosie breaks down in tears as she thanks fans for support after revealing miscarriage

Breaking down in tears, the star took to Instagram today to reveal that although it was still raw, the kind messages from fans had really helped her.

Lying in bed, she told her followers:  “I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the absolutely, beautiful, honest comments on my last post.

“I can’t believe how many people got in touch. I was really shocked by the number of people it happened to but then I wasn’t because it is one in four.

“It has helped so much reading them; I haven’t read them all because I got a bit upset at one point because it’s still very fresh and raw.”

Rosie, who married Chris in 2014, continued through her tears:  “But today I have woke Ok, still a bit of pain. I feel so lucky that we have Robin. I think if we didn’t have Robin I would have no motivation to do anything.

“He just makes you smile. I thought I got hold my tears in but I am an emotional wreck. Robin is our little saviour at the moment, he’s keeping us going. It’s incredible.”

She added: “I am really glad I put it on social media. We really hummed and harred about putting it on.  I am glad because if I ever randomly get upset I want to be able to say I had a miscarriage.”

“Tell people, take some time off work and don’t be ashamed.”

Managing to retain some of her humour, Rosie admitted she needed to wash her hair because she hadn’t done it in five days.

What is a missed miscarriage?

A missed miscarriage is when a baby stops growing or dies, but the woman doesn’t suffer any miscarriage symptoms such as bleeding or pain.

The woman might not realise there is an issue until they attend their routine scan.

In the case of missed miscarriage you can chose to let the miscarriage end naturally or take medicine to bring it on more quickly.

A miscarriage is the loss of a baby or pregnancy within the first 23 weeks.

Yesterday Chris and Rose revealed their devastation after suffering a missed miscarriage.

Rosie shared the heart-breaking news that she found out she had suffered an anembryonic pregnancy (a missed miscarriage) early on in her pregnancy at their 12-week scan last week.

Not only did the couple lose their little one, but they had to go through a traumatic few days as she had the placenta and sac removed.

However, the procedure didn't go to plan, despite "five rounds of tablets" over 20 hours, which meant she had to have them surgically removed.
