Cheryl beams as she enjoys rare night out with Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh wearing vibrant stripped dress

The 35-year-old was dressed to impress as she enjoyed a rare night out away from son Bear, who she shares with Liam Payne, to celebrate Nicola’s birthday.

Looking incredible and very happy, the singer wore a brightly coloured stripped dress, which was cinched in at the waist with a belt.

She teamed it with a pair of knee high boots and some large hoop earrings, while her dark hair fell loose down her back.

Her besties Nicola and Kimberley also looked amazing, with birthday girl Nicola wearing a champagne coloured silk dress and Kimberley in a leopard print skirt as they dined at Serge et le Phoque in London.

Nicola recently revealed she has had "so much fun" working with Cheryl on her new album.

The 32-year-old singer has been helping her former bandmate write songs for her upcoming fifth solo LP and found it "really exciting" getting back in the studio with her.

Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: "It's honestly been so much fun and it's amazing that we get to work together.

“Not just being best friends but actually being able to create something together as well – it's really exciting. Cheryl has full control of her record, she's proud of what she's done and I think it really shows in the music."

And she admitted she was is thankful to always have the support of her "sisters" Kimberly and Cheryl.

She said: "We just laugh together. By now we know what each other are like. Kimberley will mull over something and will make sure she's thought it out and Cheryl is impulsive.

“We know each other inside and out and no matter what, we don't judge each other – that's what sisters do.

"Your own flesh and blood can do something you don't agree with but it doesn't mean you don't love her anymore. You're just truly there for someone, no matter what. I'm lucky to have that support, to be able to go to two women and be like, 'Guys, this is what I'm dealing with'. They're like super women to me."
