BBC accidentally comments on Eugenie’s breasts in extraordinary subtitle fail

Princess Eugenie wed partner Jack Brooksbank today in a stunning ceremony in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

More than 800 guests watched on as the couple tied the knot – and millions more viewed the ceremony on television from the comfort of their own home.

Eugenie chose a very low back for her beautiful dress, designed by Peter Pilotto, so it would show off the scars of scoliosis surgery she had on her back at the age of 12.

Everyone agreed it was a stunning gown – including a BBC presenter.

But unfortunately the voice recognition software didn’t compute the word "dress" and it led to an extraordinary fail in the subtitles – which came across a little rude.

Journalist Ollie Bayliss spotted that at the very moment Eugenie walked up the steps to the chapel, the subtitles read: "not sure… what a beautiful breasts. Absolutely fitting her." just above the BBC breaking news ticker.

He shared a screengrab of the moment on Twitter, saying: "Either the subtitles machine is broken or BBC News are getting rather personal about Princess Eugenie."

When another Twitter user asked if it was real, he replied: "Yeah on BBC News 24 now – like something from W1A!"

Oops. Unfortunately for the BBC, one viewer always spots these little mistakes…

Eugenie and Jack wed in a beautiful ceremony inside St George’s Chapel as Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson proudly watched on from the sidelines.

Princess Beatrice, Eugenie’s older sister, performed a reading from The Great Gatsby which the bride chose because the words "immediately reminded" her of now-husband Jack.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were all in attendance, while Prince George and Princess Charlotte were page boy and bridesmaid.
