The Chase star took part in her first trial on last night's show and managed to secure two stars before bringing it to an end by saying I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Appearing on today's This Morning, Anne's co-star on The Chase, Jenny Ryan, spoke about how hard it was to watch her friend – who has autism – in the jungle, and hinted she might not make it to the final.
Jenny – known as The Vixen on The Chase – said: "It was a very hard watch with the Bushtucker Trial.
"Anne is not someone who shows her emotions very readily, so to see her tearing up and panicking like that was really hard to watch.
"I was so glad she noticed that she was getting overwhelmed and removed herself from the situation, which is something that's quite difficult to do."

Host Rochelle Humes then asked if Jenny thought Anne would last the course.
After a slight pause, Jenny diplomatically said: "I hope she lasts as long as she feels capable of doing.
"I hope she feels strong enough that, if she becomes overwhelmed, she puts herself first and removes herself from the situation.
"I can see its very stressful for her but on the other hand she's a very, very determined woman.
"One of the things she was desperate to do was to go on the show and to show people who have ASD that anything is possible and you can challenge yourself and spread the word about the condition and the different ways it affects people."
Last night, viewers wanted to give Anne a cuddle as she broke down in tears after struggling with her Bushtucker Trial.
Hosts Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly tried to keep her calm, but after getting two stars Anne couldn't cope any longer and said "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here".
Viewers were moved by her efforts, writing on Twitter: "Awwwwww a just feel soooo sorry for wee Anne in I’m a celeb 🙁 can’t believe how much of a persona she puts on in the chase 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 wanna give her the biggest hug :(.
Another tweeted: "think i am in love with anne hergerty on i’m a celeb, i have real feelings and emotions to that woman? #imaceleb2018.
A third shared:"I’m so nervous for her, never wanted a celeb to do so well in a trail, bless her! #imaceleb." while a fourth agreed, writing: "Never wanted anyone to do better than Anne on I’m a celeb."
