Does Disneyland have WiFi?

Good news: Disneyland offers park, and hotel guests access to free WiFi. However, it’s not available everywhere in the park. According to Disneyland Resort’s website, there are multiple wireless hotspots throughout both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. And, to access the service, all you need to do is go to your WiFi settings and select the network “Disney-Guest.”

To find a hotspot, Disney recommends downloading the Disneyland mobile app. From there, you can see where each hotspot is and plan your connections accordingly. Also, we’ve compiled a list of the hotspot locations in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, below.

  • Matterhorn Bobsleds – South

Should you have trouble accessing WiFi in Disneyland or California Adventure, Disney recommends visiting Guest Relations. Guest Relations is located at the Central Plaza Information Board in Disneyland and Carthay Circle Information Station in California Adventure. According to several guest reports, the WiFi at Disneyland and California is not the most amazing. However, it does work and can help save you money and keep you connected.

If you have trouble with WiFi access in the park, Disney also offers WiFi to resort guests or those wishing to lounge in the lobby. Park and hotel guests can take a break from Disneyland and access the free WiFi available in the lobby at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Paradise Pier Hotel.

Portable Phone Charging Systems Kiosks at Disneyland

In addition to keeping you and your family connected, Disney wants to ensure your phone never dies. To accommodate that, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure have set up Portable Phone Charging Systems Kiosks within both parks. Guests can rent these systems for $30 and receive one fully charged portable battery, a 6” USB to micro-USB cable (for Android), an Apple Lightning to USB cable (iPhone generations 5+), and an Apple 30-pin to USB cable (iPhone and iPad generations 1 to 4).

To charge your phone with the rented device, all you have to do is connect your phone or tablet to the battery with one of the provided cables. You can continue to snap pictures, talk, and text while charging. Should the portable battery die after charging (and you want to use it again), simply connect the USB cable to a computer or a USB charging port and AC outlet to recharge. If you’d rather not recharge, you can swap out your dead battery for a fully-charged one at any kiosk with no additional costs.
