Country's Cutest Couples Step Out at the CMA Awards: See the Photos

Though she admitted they probably spent “like less than 30” percent of their first year of marriage together, Ballerini and her husband looked smitten on the carpet at Wednesday night’s CMA Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. 

Baby makes three for the second-time parents-to-be, who walked the carpet with big smiles before Underwood revealed the baby-on-the-way is a boy!

The new couple adorably made their red carpet debut. “I just walked the carpet with the most beautiful woman — Miss Carly Pearce — for the first time,” Ray told PEOPLE. “We took some photos…we’ve been drinking wine [and] hanging out, just taking it in. It’s country’s night to party.”

Brooks proved he’s the “best date ever,” fluffing his wife’s collar on the carpet.

Morris and Hurd showed the couple that shines together, stays together.

The high school sweethearts shared their secret to marriage success with PEOPLE: “I just listen,” he said, then quickly backpedaling, “Okay, I lied to you. I try to listen.”

The Aldeans, also expecting baby No. 2, made room for Brittany’s baby bump in their red carpet shots.

The Florida Georgia Line guys are never at an awards show without their lovely wives.

“So proud of you honey,” Akins shared in an Instagram ahead of the couple’s trip to the CMA Awards.

“I finally found my take back home girl,” Lane told PEOPLE of Bushnell on the red carpet Wednesday night, quoting his hit 2017 Tori Kelly duet, “Take Back Home Girl.” He adds, “See what I did there?”

“She’s my biggest fan, but at the same time she couldn’t care less — which is awesome,” McCreery told PEOPLE of his wife of five months. “I get home and she’s like, ‘Just go take out the trash and do the laundry.’”

The country starlet was happy to show off her engagement ring from Hopkins, who proposed in July.

The couple shared a sweet smooch for the cameras. 

The guys of Dan + Shay both tied the knot last year, and brought their brides along to the show.

Another newlywed couple, Ballard and Murphy goofed off for the cameras.

Ahead of his performance, Bentley hit the carpet with his wife of nearly 13 years.

The singer made a point to point out his lovely wife.

Brown and Jae married just three weeks ago, but managed to make it from their honeymoon to the CMA Awards.

The couple kept it color-coordinated for Wednesday night’s awards. 

The singer and his wife of eight years made it a date night.

Pardi recently told PEOPLE how his girlfriend joins him on the road — and she joined him at Wednesday night’s CMA Awards, too.
