Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves: Live stream, TV, kick-off and team news

The teams finished second and third after 30 weekly rounds and won their semi-finals against St Helens and Castleford respectively.

Warrington will be hoping to go one better than they did at the Challenge Cup final at Wembley, when they were surprised by Catalans Dragons. It would also end a 63-year wait to be called rugby league’s champions.

Wigan have an eye on sending coach Shaun Wane out in style as he steps down after tonight’s game to become High Performance Coach with the Scottish Rugby Union.

Sam Tomkins, John Bateman and Ryan Sutton also play their final matches before moving to Catalans Dragons and NRL side Canberra Raiders respectively.

The winners will play Australian champions Sydney Roosters in next year’s World Club Challenge, with talks on whether it will be held in England or Australia expected.

Which channel is it on and can I live stream it?

You can watch this live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Arena, with coverage starting at 5pm before kick-off at 6pm.

To stream the game live, you can buy a Sky Sports Day Pass from NOW TV for £7.99. Or you can save £160 across the season with a 10 month season pass.

What is the team news?

LET’S face it. Anyone with even a fairly severe knock will play through the pain barrier tonight.

Both teams are expected to be unchanged, save for a choice on who starts and who comes off the bench.

Wigan (from): Bateman, Clubb, Davies, Escare, Farrell, Flower, Gildart, Greenwood, Hamlin, Leuluai, Manfredi, Navarrete, O’Loughlin, Powell, Sarginson, Sutton, Tautai, Tomkins, Williams.

Warrington (from): Atkins, Brown, Charnley, Clark, Cooper, Goodwin, Hill, Hughes, G King, T King, Lineham, Livett, Murdoch-Masila, Patton, Philbin, Ratchford, Roberts, Thompson, Westwood.

Who will win?

WIGAN are many people’s favourites to lift the title but Warrington certainly have the players to come out on top.

It is currently Wigan 3 Warrington 2 in the five times they have played already this season.

Do not be surprised if it goes all the way, maybe even to golden point extra-time.
