UFC star allegedly attacked by Nazi-linked husband: ‘He’s f–ked up’

The husband of UFC star Andrea Lee allegedly assaulted her after watching UFC 227 earlier this month, “trying to burn a cigarette” on her arm and body, according to a police report.

The report, obtained by MMANews, provides a disturbing glimpse into the relationship between Lee and husband Donny Aaron, who made headlines in June after a photo of his swastika tattoo emerged on social media. It details an Aug. 4 incident during which Lee and Aaron’s roommate, fellow MMA fighter Andy Nguyen, called police in Shreveport, Louisiana, after Aaron allegedly assaulted Lee following the pay-per-view event in Los Angeles.

“I’m in the bedroom, I’m trying to sleep, in their house,” Nguyen told police. “I can hear them complaining about how [UFC fighter Demetrious Johnson] got robbed … Then I hear more yelling, he’s cussing her out. So I opened my door and [Lee] runs into her daughter’s room. Donny is trying to burn a cigarette on her arm and her body. She’s yelling to stop trying to burn her.”

Hours later, Nguyen said he was awoken early on Aug. 5 and went to the kitchen, where he heard Aaron, 43, and Lee, 29, still “bickering,” according to the police report.

“I opened the door and was like, ‘Donny, leave her alone,’” Nguyen said. “He looked like he was lost. He hadn’t slept in two days. He was drinking for two f–king days straight. I don’t know what he was on.”

Nguyen told investigators that Aaron accused Lee of “cheating on [him]” for three years before she took off “sprinting” and Aaron went after her, according to the police report.

“Donny goes back in the house and he’s like, ‘I did it again, I did it again,’” the police report continued. “I was like, ‘What did you do? Did you kill her?’ because he has killed someone before. I didn’t know if he grabbed a rock and banged her head. I was scared to walk outside. He was like no, ‘I made her run barefoot again.’”

Nguyen also accused Aaron — a former police officer convicted of negligent homicide in 2009 — of trying to force his wife to “fake evidence that she was cheating,” according to the police report.

“He was trying to get her to pull her pants off and take pictures to send to a guy so it looked like she sent it,” Nguyen told police. “He’s f–ked up in the head. They had been arguing all week. She couldn’t train because he kept her home. He wouldn’t let her leave.”

Nguyen said Aaron tried to choke Lee, but she “defended herself well,” according to the report. She still had marks on her neck, but the abuse “wasn’t bad this time,” Nguyen told cops.

Aaron is facing charges of false imprisonment and domestic abuse and battery, but has not yet been charged after fleeing the scene. He and Lee have been married for roughly five years and have a daughter together, according to the police report.

Messages seeking comment early Thursday from Shreveport police were not immediately returned, but an arrest warrant for Aaron is “forthcoming,” a police spokeswoman told MMA Fighting on Wednesday.
