Tyson Fury's wife reveals she suffered miscarriage on day of fight but hid it from him

Paris Fury, 28, decided to keep her baby heartbreak from her boxer husband until after the bout to save him from distraction.

Former heavyweight champion Fury was making his first return to the ring in 32 months to face Albanian Sefer Seferi in June.

Paris told the Sunday Mirror: “I was about eight weeks pregnant. Then on the day of the fight I knew I’d lost our baby.

“I didn’t mention it to Tyson before he went in the ring. Then straight after it I told him and the next day we went to the hospital and it was confirmed.

"Five weeks later we fell pregnant again – and now our new baby, a boy, is due in March. We were still heartbroken over our loss, but overjoyed at the same time."

The couple, who married in 2009 already have four children together and will be expanding their family next year.

Having overcome depression, Fury drew with American WBC champion Deontay Wilder last weekend after getting up off the canvass twice in Los Angeles.

It was the third fight of his comeback after almost three years out of the ring.

Fury was banned from boxing for two years after being tested positive for elevated levels of banned steroid nandrolone in February 2015.

Fury, who was world champion after beating Wladimir Klitschko, fought Francesco Pianeta in August before the Wilder clash earlier this month.

A rematch is expected to be announced to take place next year with the U.K. a likely destination.
