Tiger Woods seals victory with ‘love you’ and kiss for girlfriend

Tiger Woods’ victory lap included a sweet embrace with girlfriend Erica Herman.

After capturing the Tour Championship title on Sunday, his first win in five years, the golfer celebrated the momentous occasion with a kiss with his lady love on the green, as well as a proclamation of love.

Herman was one of the first to greet Woods, and he can be heard saying, “How about that? … I love you,” as the pair embraced.

“It’s been tough,” Woods shared after the event. “I’ve had a not-so-easy last couple of years and I’ve worked my way back and … it’s just hard to believe I’ve won the Tour Championship.”

Woods’ comeback has been several years in the making. His downfall began with a cheating scandal and an ugly breakup with ex-wife Elin Nordegren. He later joined a 45-day therapy program.

“I thought I could get away with whatever I wanted to do,” Woods said in 2010. “I felt that I had worked hard my entire life and deserved to enjoy all the temptations around me. I felt I was entitled.”

Woods also dated Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn for over two years after the two met in 2012 at a charity event.

The golfer was arrested for driving under the influence in close proximity to his Jupiter Island, Fla., home last year. Authorities found him asleep at the wheel.

Following his arrest in May 2017, in which he told officers he had a reaction to prescription drugs, Woods said in July he had sought treatment to deal with issues regarding his medication.

Woods was first linked to Herman in the fall of 2017. She was previously identified as the general manager of Woods’ Jupiter, Fla., eatery, The Woods.
