The Eden Hazard transfer saga might not be over

Real Madrid will reportedly make a £200million bid for Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

The Spanish giants are yet to replace Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Juventus for £88m last month.

And they are prepared to match Chelsea’s valuation of their Belgian midfielder, according to the Daily Express .

Chelsea have already sold Thibaut Courtois to Real and he could be followed by his countryman.

But although Hazard has yet to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge, it is understood he is not desperate to leave.

Real Madrid however want to add some stardust to their squad before the transfer window closes on August 31.

Courtois, who joined Real last week, hinted during his unveiling that Hazard could join him.

"He’s a wonderful player," Courtois said of his compatriot at his press conference.

"I’d love to play alongside him again and we’ll have to see what happens in the future. If he ends up here one day, that would be brilliant."

Hazard was introduced from the bench for the final 15 minutes of Chelsea’s opening-weekend win over Huddersfield on Saturday.

A penalty from Jorginho and strikes from N’Golo Kante and Pedro ensured a comfortable victory for new boss Maurizio Sarri.
