Spurs' new stadium christened by Lord Sugar who's first to take a PEE in director's lounge – as picture shows it looking incredible at night

And Lord Alan Sugar has already christened the ground – by taking the first PEE in the director's lounge toilet.

The former Spurs chairman, 71, shared a video of the stadium captioned: "I had a tour of the new Spurs stadium yesterday.

"It's amazing the best in Uk and Europe and possibly in the world.

"Most important thing is I had the honour of being the first person to take a pee in the directors lounge too."

Up to 3,800 tradesmen have been working round-the-clock to complete the ground.

But despite our snaps, club bosses still say it won't be ready until February at the earliest – and there are fears it will not be fit to play in until next season.

In the meantime Harry Kane and Co will have to continue playing at Wembley.

The long-awaited opening of Spurs' new 62,000-seater ground has faced countless set-backs with the club recently announcing that it won't be until at least January when it is fit to host its first game.

It is edging closer to completion after markings were drawn on the pitch and the famous Golden Cockerel was installed on top of the stadium.

But there is still work to be done including electrical and construction issues.

Tottenham had hoped to to host their first game on September 15 but have suffered numerous setbacks.

Manchester United's visit to Tottenham on January 13 had been pencilled in as the first game at the stadium.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino urged fans to be patient ahead of the unveiling of "the best stadium in Europe".

He said: "I would like to be 20-years-old and be a player that Tottenham offer a contract to, because [the stadium] will be amazing.

“Again I say to our fans ‘patience’, because it’s going to be the best stadium in Europe.”

Meanwhile, Tottenham have been rapped by the Advertising Standards Agency over a poster claiming their delayed new stadium was the only place in London to watch Champions League football.
