The Red Sox beat the Yankees 4-3 in Game 4 of their ALDS on Tuesday night to win the series 3-1 and advance to the ALCS.But man, did it ever come down to a heart-pounding finish for fans of both teams.
Just when it looked like Red Sox were going to blow a 3-run lead in the bottom of the ninth, and with runners on first and second with two outs, first baseman Steve Pearce made a play at first that won’t soon be forgotten in Boston .
