Salford sign Ken Sio on three-year deal while Leeds land Konrad Hurrell

The former Hull KR winger will move over from NRL side Newcastle Knights.

It is believed the Red Devils fought off interest from another Super League side to land the 27-year-old.

And Sio follows Jackson Hastings in committing himself to Ian Watson's side. SunSport also revealed they are targeting prop Adam Walker, whose drugs ban ends in March.

Meanwhile, Leeds will sign Tongan powerhouse Konrad Hurrell as their transformation goes on.

New boss David Furner is aiming to turn the Rhinos back into contenders after a nightmare 2018 saw them go from Super League champions to fighting relegation.

And centre Hurrell is a top target after landing international colleague Tui Lolohea.

SunSport understands a deal is set to be signed after talks over a release from NRL side Gold Coast Titans.

But the 27-year-old has been allowed to move to Headingley, even though he has another year left on his contract.
