Manchester United win battle to sign Noam Emeran with deal ‘imminent’ following PSG and Juventus interest

The 16-year-old is currently playing for the Ligue 1 side's U19 team, where he has caught the eye of a number of European powerhouses.

According to RMC, a deal to bring Emeran to Old Trafford could be announced imminently in what is seen as a major coup for the Red Devils.

The report claims that a deal could rise to £8.9million, with United to pay £1.7m up-front, with the rest being paid in bonuses.

While they also claim that Emeran has agreed terms with Jose Mourinho's side, and now only has to agree a move away with Amiens.

He is expected to link up with the squad in the winter transfer window, but will not be in the first team plans of the Special One.

Despite being born in France, Emeran is able to feature for the Belgian national side – who are desperate for him to pledge his allegiance.

United are in dire need for new firepower up top with the club winless in the Premier League in their last four outings.

Star striker Romelu Lukaku has netted just five times for the Red Devils this season, as he struggles for form.

Mourinho's men welcome Fulham to Old Trafford tomorrow, where they will be looking to rise from eighth in the table.
