Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez is available for Jose Mourinho for trip to Bournemouth tomorrow

The star missed United's last two games with a groin injury.

But Jose Mourinho confirmed his January signing will be available to take on the Cherries.

United sit eighth in the Premier League on 17 points, two places and three points behind tomorrow's opponents who are enjoying a fine run of results under Eddie Howe.

Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions and will welcome Mourinho's side full of confidence.

And fans travelling down to the south coast will be boosted by the news of Sanchez's return to fitness.

The Chilean, who joined Manchester United in January, played the final five minutes of the 2-2 draw at Chelsea last month.

But he missed the game against Juventus and was an unused substitute against Everton with the groin problem.

Sanchez has just one goal this season from nine appearances – but his injury-time winner against Newcastle proved a pivotal one that may well have kept his manager in his job.

Jesse Lingard is also available for Mourinho. He came on in the 95th minute against Everton on Sunday but is in contention for a start at the Vitality Stadium.

Antonio Valencia, Diogo Dalot and Marouane Fellaini are all out for tomorrow's game, while Phil Jones' status is still unknown.
