Manchester United fall behind rivals City not just in Premier League but also a bowling alley after string of high scores

The two city rivals, who face each other at the Etihad on Sunday, are fierce competitors on the pitch, with Pep Guardiola's side edging it in the Premier League in recent seasons.

The pair have also been battling it out to become the top scorers at the central Manchester-based All Star Lanes.

And City stars Ederson, Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus have all shot up the leaderboard to overtake their United counterparts.

Etihad legend Micah Richards still tops the list with a mammoth 197 score, dwarfing the rest of the footballers in Manchester.

And goalkeeper Ederson has recently shot a 185, joining Ashley Young on the list, closely followed by Laporte on 180.

Meanwhile, Brazil strike sensation Jesus has joined Jesse Lingard on 174, with a smattering of Red Devils stars below him.

An All Star Lanes source said: “It would seem not only in the Premier League have United fallen behind their rivals.

“Ashley Young had been top of the leaderboard for two years but Ederson has now equalled him and Laporte has overtaken Luke Shaw.

“Even Gabriel Jesus has entered the top six and moved Rashford and Rooney aside. It's all gotten very competitive here.”

United's players are often seen at the bowling alley, with Anthony Martial seen taking his partner on a date there last year.

And Morgan Schneiderlin celebrated last Christmas as he went second on the all-time list with a staggering score of 189.
