Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will NOT celebrate if his team win at Chelsea for the first time out of respect for fans

Mourinho has lost three times at his old club since he took over the Red Devils.

He has taken plenty of stick as well from the fans who used to hail him for landing them three Premier League titles.

But Mourinho says his affection for Chelsea means he will not be rubbing anyone’s nose in it if he can get a much needed three points there tomorrow lunch time.

Mourinho said: “Would I celebrate like crazy if my team goal at Stamford Bridge or my team a victory at Stamford Bridge? I don't think so.

“I think I would try to control myself and to respect the stadium and the supporters that were my supporters and stadium for many years.

“To do that would be something where I completely lost my emotional control, which is not easy.

“So I would think which stadium I am in, which public is in the stands, apart from that is another match for me.

“I want to do well for my team, players, support, I am 100 per cent Manchester United tomorrow, no more space than respect for the stadium and the fans.”

Mourinho's comments were a reminder of Antonio Conte's behaviour when the Italian led his side to a 4-0 win over United at the Bridge.

The Special One was furious with his counterpart's reaction, leading to a feud that grew nastier in the following season.

Meanwhile Mourinho refused to comment on the FA charge he has received for using abusive language towards a TV camera after the victory over Newcastle.

Mourinho said: “If I answer to your question I probably have another process because I cannot imply bias so my answer is no answer.”

Mourinho has asked for an extension to compile a response, which has been granted.
