Man City striker Sergio Aguero reveals Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is his best pal in England

And one of the few people the Argentine ace turns to for company is United keeper David De Gea.

The pair are firm friends from their days at Atletico Madrid so often spend time together — even though they are big rivals on the pitch.

Aguero’s estranged wife and son Benjamin live back in South America — with his son visiting once a month.

But the rest of the time, the striker — who earlier this month chalked up his 100th goal for City — is on his own.

The 30-year-old City icon said: “Benjamin lives with his mother in Argentina. He goes to school there.

“He spends a week here every month. He has a room here and when my siblings come, they stay here too.

“But most of the time I’m on my own. If not, I’ll hang out with Nico Otamendi — or David De Gea.

“I hang out a lot with De Gea because we played together at Atletico Madrid. We have a good friendship.
“But he plays at United and I play at City.”

Aguero gave a glimpse into his home life during the ‘All or Nothing’ documentary done by Amazon Prime, which starts tomorrow.

He added: “I’ve a cinema. I prefer action or mafia movies. As I’m on my own I don’t watch horror movies.

“I’d have to lock myself in the house or in my room.”

Aguero’s sensational scoring exploits are commemorated all over his apartment.

His father decided to put his collection of matchballs — from his hat-tricks — on a shelf above the television.

Meanwhile, he has a dressing room which contains all the shirts he has worn when he has found the net — with each one clearly marked.

There is also table football featuring City’s squad from 2011-12, when he famously won them the Premier League title with almost the last kick against QPR.

Aguero reflects on that moment when his stoppage-time goal snatched the title away from United.

He said: “When I look back on that goal, it was crazy.”

In the documentary, skipper Vincent Kompany recalled: “Everything collapsed, we all jumped on each other.

“The fans were crying. It was like we had witnessed the end of the world and we were ready for it.

“The next thing we knew we’d been sent to paradise.

“There was a paradise at the end.”
