LeBron James surprises Memphis arena employee with game-worn shoes

LeBron James will notice when you wear his shoes around him. Even if you only encounter him once a year.

With the Los Angeles Lakers on their way to a blowout victory Saturday night over the Memphis Grizzlies, James was able to watch the final few minutes from the bench. Before the final buzzer sounded, James was spotted giving his game shoes to a Grizzlies arena employee. He also had a hug for the visibly emotional woman.

When asked about the interaction later, James said he had noticed 23-year-old Brian’e Miller wearing his shoes whenever he visited Memphis and decided to surprise her with an extra special pair of LeBrons this time.

"Every year I've come here she's always worn a very exclusive pair of my shoes, and I've always noticed it. I've never said anything to her," James said. "Tonight I said something to her for the first time, and she was like, 'Yeah, I've always been team LeBron. Always.' So she got a pair of LeBrons."
