Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals WWE offer and targets Brock Lesnar with UFC future unclear after Conor McGregor post-fight bust-up

The Russian’s UFC future is up in the air after his explosive post-match actions after defeating Conor McGregor last Saturday.

Nurmagomedov submitted Notorious in the fourth round to retain his lightweight title in Las Vegas before the real drama began.

Moments after downing McGregor with a rear naked choke submission, he jumped out of the octagon to confront Dillion Danis to spark wild scenes and a mass brawl.

His team members, still inside the cage, then attacked McGregor in scenes described as “disgusting” by UFC president Dana White.

Both fighters have been suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission as they investigate the shocking incident.

The champ has since warned he will walk away from UFC if they sack his friend Zubaira Tukhugov for hitting McGregor.

And it looks like he has an offer on the table already from the world’s largest wrestling promotion.

At least that is according to Nurmagomedov, who tweeted the news this morning.

And he appeared to immediately set his sights on former UFC heavyweight king and ex-WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar.

Nurmagomedov wrote: “WWE ask me to jump inside. What do you guys think? #SmashLesnar #FakeFights.”

Lesnar is expected to return to the octagon in the new year but will next be in action inside the wrestling ring on November 2 at Crown Jewel.

Nurmagomedov's rival McGregor has spoken of WWE's interest before and upset a series of superstars when he taunted them two years ago, declaring the roster were “dweebs”.
