Free horse racing tips for today: Fakenham, Lingfield and Southwell – The Wizard of Odds' betting preview for Tuesday, November 20

He has no problem seeing out this sort of trip and looks well handicapped and is already proven in this class.

While he’s in such good form there’s every chance he’ll land another victory here.

GENERAL CUSTARD (2.20 Southwell) showed promise in bumpers and has taken well to hurdles after a modest debut over timber.

He won with five lengths in hand at Warwick before taking a step up in distance in his stride to finish an excellent second at Fakenham last time out.

An error proved costly there, which is understandable on just his third race over the sticks. There should be a fair bit more to come.

SWORD EXCEED (1.10 Lingfield) wasn’t asked too many questions when still managing a decent fourth at Catterick last time out.

Before that he ran a lot better than eighth place suggests at Lingfield after winning there over 7f.

Dropping back to 6f is no problem as he won well the last time he tackled this course and distance.

He’s 3lb higher than his last winning mark and has plenty of decent form in this class.

Wizard's magic tips…

EACH-WAY DOUBLE: UNFORGIVING MINUTE (1.40 Lingfield) was a little rusty after a break at Kempton last time and is taking a fair drop in class here.

He should make the frame over an ideal distance so pair him with ORGANDI (3.50 Southwell). She created an excellent impression when second at Wincanton on her bumper debut and this race doesn’t look any tougher.

TOP TEAM: Brian Hughes has five winners from seven rides for Ronan McNally in the past two years. They team up with outsider THE TRIGGER in Southwell’s 1.50.

RETRIEVAL MISSIONS: Three horses that are fancied again today have been beaten favourite on their past two outings — TOO MUCH TOO SOON (1.00 Fakenham), THECLOCKISTICKING (2.30 Fakenham), BIG BAD LOL (3.40 Lingfield).

BOBBY K (2.40 Lingfield) had a bit in hand when winning at Chelmsford last time out on the AW and followed up with a close-up second at Nottingham last time.

He was asked to make up a lot of ground in the closing stages there and the line came just too soon.

Despite that good form, in-form trainer Simon Crisford has fitted the cheekpieces for the first time and they could bring further improvement.
