Crocked Andy Carroll puts West Ham defeat behind him while partying at Faces nightclub hours after Arsenal defeat

The perennially-crocked striker, 29, is currently recovering from ankle surgery, but looked more than happy as he joined Towie stars on Saturday night.

Carroll was spotted entering the Essex hotspot just hours after the Hammers surrendered a lead to lose 3-1 to the Gunners.

Marko Arnautovic had given Manuel Pellegrini's struggling squad an early lead at the Emirates with his low, placed shot.

However, Nacho Monreal quickly got Arsenal back on track, before an Issa Diop own goal and late Danny Welbeck strike gave Unai Emery his first-ever Premier League points.

Carroll has been out of action since July after aggravating an old injury during the Hammers' pre-season training camp in Switzerland.

The nine-cap former England international was limited to just 16 Premier League games last season, scoring three times.

Prior to that Carroll was used just 18 times in 2016-17 as he's struggled for fitness ever since leaving Newcastle in 2011.

The ex-Liverpool forward is still expected to miss at least another six to eight weeks with the injury.

Carroll will be aiming to return in October and with West Ham yet to pick up a single point this season, they may need him back even more quickly.
