Several men, believed to be part of both their entourages, tried to split the two up before a mass brawl broke out.

Diners at the restaurant can be heard screaming as plates and glasses smashed on the floor while the scrap continued. It allegedly culminated in Saunders throwing half a chicken at Wilder before the WBC champion chased him down the road.

According to onlookers, Wilder and Saunders were talking with fans inside the restaurant before the alleged attack.

Footage shows a number of what are believed to be Wilder’s entourage sprinting out of the restaurant after Saunders before the recording finishes.

The comments Wilder was referring to are those said by Saunders to iFL TV back in March after the American had accused boxing promoter Eddie Hearn of exploiting Anthony Joshua during an astonishing outburst.

‘Eddie Hearn is just another white man milking a black man, that is all,’ Wilder told a press conference ahead of his world title defence against Luis Ortiz earlier this year.

‘It’s easy. It’s about time for somebody to say it and come out with it and I don’t care who hears it. I don’t hold my voice and I don’t have any filters, I speak what I think.’

Saunders and a couple of others soon left the restaurant in Belfast on Friday evening

Saunders, the WBO middleweight champion, responded by taking aim at the heavyweight for his attack on Hearn.

‘He is a racist c*** I think, I personally think he is,’ Saunders told iFL TV. ‘Questions about promoters using fighters, he’s got a bit of a chip on his shoulder.

‘When I read them, I thought you can’t be saying that. I’ve got mates from all different nationalities and you can’t come out and say that. It’s unprofessional.’

The incident between Wilder and Saunders follows what was a heated weigh-in on Friday afternoon at the Europa Hotel.

Fury and Wilder had scuffled in a packed hotel lobby after the Gypsy King weighed in on the eve of his second comeback fight against Francesco Pianeta.

Wilder had flown into Belfast from the US in time to see his potential future opponent’s weigh-in.

Both boxers had to be held back by minders as a ‘pantomime punch-up’ erupted in the hotel lobby.

Wilder will be commentating for BT Sport on Saturday night during Fury’s fight at Windsor Park against Pianeta.
