Pending court approval of the acquisition, the ownership of the Wimbledon Park Golf Club will transfer to the All-England Lawn Tennis Club from December 21.
The Golf Club across from Church Road will operate as an 18-hole golf course until December 31, 2021.
And two celebrity TV presenters are set to earn themselves a nice windfall out of the deal.
The 750 members of the club, which include Ant and Dec, will receive about £80,000 each as part of the agreement.
For context, the pair were said to make around £130,000-a-week each at their peak as presenters on shows such as I'm a Celeb… and Britain's Got Talent.
Proposed plans include new courts for qualifying events.
The All-England club stressed last night there will be no “multi-storey car parks and shopping villages or any other structures” on the purchased land.

In a statement, the AELTC said: “This is an important and exciting step for the future of the Championships.
“Any future development proposals will protect and celebrate the heritage of the park, be guided by our landscape advisers who have closely studied the significance and history of the land, and importantly, be delivered in partnership with the local community.”
Chairman Philip Brook said: “The decision of the Wimbledon Park Golf Club members to vote in favour of the acquisition offer is a hugely significant moment for the AELTC and The Championships.”
