AIK fans celebrate title win with incredible pitch invasion and fireworks display

The Allsvenskan outfit hadn't won the league in nine years – and left it until the final day to put their fans through a nervy evening.

Robin Jansson netted the sole goal away to Kalmar – prompting absolutely wild scenes at the full-time whistle.

On the referee's last blast, AIK supporters turned the sky red with flares and banners as they stormed the field of play.

Through their 30 games, the club even racked up a record 67 points in storming to the title.

AIK star – and ex-Arsenal and Sunderland man – Sebastian Larsson even got in on the celebrations.

After the famous win, he told Swedish TV: “Wonderful, this is why I came home, to experience this.

“I felt the ambition of AIK as a club, and even if we’ve taken it slowly but surely the last few games no one can complain, we deserve this.”

AIK ended up two points clear of Norrkoping and nine ahead of Malmo – who'd won the last two Allsvenskan crowns.

But for AIK all that matters was getting their hands on their first crown since 2009 – when they did the domestic double.
