‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ 2019 Taps Kelsea Ballerini, Chainsmokers and Macklemore

Kelsea Ballerini, The Chainsmokers, Charlie Puth, Macklemore and Dua Lipa are set to ring in 2019 by taking the stage on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” on December 31. The stars will be rocking the West Coast celebration alongside other big musicians including Foster the People, Skylar Grey and Ella Mai.

Kelsea and The Chainsmokers will be joining forces to perform their collaboration track “This Feeling”. “@kelseaballerini performing from the Hollywood Party. 12/31 at 8/7c on ABC. #RockinEve,” the show announced on Monday, November 26 through its official Instagram account.


Ryan Seacrest has been tapped to serve as the host for the celebration for the thirteenth time. He is not going to be alone though, as the “American Idol” host is set to be joined by onsite host Jenny McCarthy who will be reporting in from Time’s Square in New York City with the iconic “ball drop” at the stroke of midnight.

Actress Lucy Hale will be reporting in from New Orleans. Meanwhile, singer Ciara is slated to host from Los Angeles.

“For 47 years, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve has been America’s biggest and most watched party of the year,” said Mark Bracco, Executive Producer and Executive Vice President of Programming & Development at Dick Clark Productions. “We’re thrilled that Ryan, Jenny, Ciara and Lucy are back to help America usher in the New Year, along with a stellar lineup of the year’s hottest musical artists.”

The five-hour TV special will air live from Times Square in New York on December 31 at 8 P.M. on ABC.
