Bruges already makes for a dreamy break with its picturesque canals, cobbled streets and historic buildings, but during the festive season it gets an extra touch of magic as it’s transformed into a Christmas market hub.
There’s good news for those who want to explore its traditional stalls and foodie delights, as you won’t need to break the bank or use up all of your remaining annual leave to visit.
That’s because Groupon has launched a tempting deal from £49pp for a day-trip to the Belgian city , from the UK, in conjunction with Coach Innovations Ltd.
That includes your return coach journey (there are six pick-up points), your ferry crossing and time in the city to explore the markets.

The coach will take you to Dover for the ferry crossing to France – on the other side it’s about a 90-minute drive to Bruges and voila!
The rest of the day is at your leisure whether you want to squeeze in a spot of sightseeing amidst the festivities, plan to get all of your Christmas shopping done, or tuck into Belgian delicacies while soaking up the atmosphere.
You’ll have until 6pm to explore before it’s time to head back to the coach park to head home, with an approximate arrival time in the UK of 9pm.
