When new details about any movie within the Marvel franchise emerges, you better believe fans are going to dissect every layer of it to try and gain insight into how things will play out after Avengers: Infinity War. Everyone is desperate for any clues as to what will happen in the aftermath of Thanos’ finger snap, leaving half of the universe in a pile of dust. And while we all want to believe that most of our beloved heroes can still be saved, clues from the new trailer are forcing fans to wonder, is Iron Man dead in Spider-Man: Far From Home? It’s a theory many have suspected for quite some time, and it looks like it just might be coming true.
Now, it’s important to note that the footage doesn’t come right out and say anything about Tony Stark’s fate, however, there are subtle hints sprinkled throughout the clip that eagle-eyed fans are sure to pick up on that indicate Iron Man can no longer be a mentor and confidant for this friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It’s a sad option to consider, but given the fact that Tony was showcased in the Avengers 4 trailer as being lost in space with absolutely no one around, it’s not entirely surprising, but still heartbreaking nonetheless. So when you decide to go back and watch the new Spider-Man trailer for the umpteenth time, be sure to take note of all the underlying clues that appear to tease Iron Man’s fate.
