Sam Smith has an unlikely style icon: Gloria Estefan.
On Tuesday, the 26-year-old singer shared an Instagram video of himself dancing around his apartment terrace to the Miami icon’s hit song “Conga” while wearing a full bodysuit, ruffled skirt and bright red pumps.
Judging by the clip, Smith — who is normally seen in fitted suits — is just as confident dancing in stilettos as he is belting out high notes in a turtleneck.
Estefan was predictably psyched to see Smith’s tribute: The 61-year-old songstress reposted Smith’s video to her own Instagram, and even offered him a role in her Broadway musical.
“What an incredible welcome to London! Love you @samsmith,” she wrote. “Do you want to join our @onyourfeetuk cast… we’ll be opening on the West End this summer!!”
