Cheap alternative flights to Primera Air destinations as airline goes bust

Thousands of passengers’ travel plans have been thrown into chaos as budget airline Primera Air has declared bankruptcy and ceased all operations as of Monday 1st October.

Unfortunately, holidaymakers who don’t have ATOL protection on their holiday and are stranded aboard/who have booked flights will have to pay for new tickets out of their own pocket .

But that doesn’t mean you’ll need to break the bank, as there are plenty of airlines which offer cheap flights to the same destinations as Primera Air.

We’ve done the leg work for you and searched out where you can find similar deals with alternative airlines, to the same destinations. (Based on the airline’s starting prices from £35 each way to European destinations).

We’ve tried to find flights from Birmingham, London Stansted and Manchester, from which Primera Air was offering flights, but in some instances we’ve included other UK airports where useful.
