Teen Mom OG stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are due to welcome a baby in March. And no one is more excited than than couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Novalee.
The 26-year-old MTV personality shared an Instagram video that was filmed at Catelynn’s doctor’s appointment on Tuesday, October 16. In the clip, a beaming Nova clutched an ultrasound printout and exclaimed that her younger sibling was “waving” to her in the picture. “It’s a tiny baby!” she added, while jumping around.
It was a heartwarming scene that Baltierra knew he had to share with his fans. “She’s so excited to be a big sister & it’s just melting daddy’s heart to see her so happy!” Baltierra captioned the post. “#NovaleeReign #BabyBaltierra.”
Middle school sweethearts Catelynn, 26, and Tyler placed their daughter Carly, now 9, for an open adoption in 2009, but they remain involved in the little girl’s life.
The 16 and Pregnant alums suffered a devastating miscarriage in 2017, but Catelynn believes the loss happened for a reason. It was what led her to seek treatment for suicidal thoughts. “I really believe in my heart that I was meant to have that miscarriage because I spiraled so hard that it forced me to go to a place where I really had to dig into my childhood traumas,” she told Us Weekly in September. “I really think that the baby was meant to leave so I could really dig deeper into my wounds from childhood.”
The Tierra Reign CEO and Catelynn revealed exclusively to Us Weekly in September that they are expecting their third child. They tied the knot in August 2015.
