Pregnant Kelli Giddish is in the homestretch — and Mariska Hargitay can’t stop marveling at her baby bump. Hargitay, 54, shared a photo of Giddish, 38, with her shirt pulled up on Tuesday, November 6. In her caption, the Law & Order: SVU actress revealed her costar is due this fall.
Giddish and her husband, Lawrence Faulborn, are already parents of 3-year-old son Ludo. The little boy had a one-episode stint on his mom’s hit NBC show, playing her character’s newborn daughter. (Giddish joined the drama in 2011 as Detective Amanda Rollins, a recovering gambling addict.)
The Georgia native was hesitant about letting Ludo appear on TV. “I was like, ‘Am I pimping my child out?’ And they were like, ‘No! That will be such a cool thing when he gets older, he’ll have been on Law & Order.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, as a girl,’” she told E! News in 2016. “I’m sure he’s going to love that when he gets old enough to realize. He’s going to be like, ‘Oh, thanks for the pink bow on national television, mom.’”

Giddish showed off her bump at the season 20 premiere of Law & Order: SVU in September. “Kelli looked amazing, she was glowing,” an onlooker told Us Weekly at the time. The All My Children alum joked to reporters, “I’m feeling good, but ready to not be pregnant anymore!”
Meanwhile, it’s fitting that Emmy Award winner Hargitay was the first to post a snap of Giddish’s bump. Back in 2015, costar Ice T broke the news on Instagram that Giddish had given birth to her first child!
