Meatball No. 3 is a boy! Pregnant Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi announced on Thursday, December 13, that son Lorenzo, 6, and daughter Giovanna, 4, will soon have a little brother.
The Jersey Shore star, who is married to Jionni LaValle, incorporated Lorenzo into the gender reveal party that took place outside.
“I decided Lorenzo was going to hit a baseball and the baseball is going to come out with powder and it’s going to be blue or pink,” Polizzi, 31, explained in an Instagram video on Thursday. (Polizzi and her husband of four years knew the baby’s sex ahead of time.)
In the video, the MTV personality also showed off her growing stomach. “I feel like I’m showing,” she said. “It’s happening.”
Polizzi announced on November 22 that she and LaValle are expecting by showing off pictures of her kids holding a sonogram. “What I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving,” she captioned the shots.
In October, the 4-foot-8, New Jersey native opened up to Us Weekly about her desire to expand her family. “We’ve actually been trying for two months now and it’s not happening,” she said. At the time she chalked it up to stress. “So I’m just gonna relax,” she noted. “If it happens, it happens.”
The couple had a good time with the baby making process. “We get our wine, we order pizza and then we go into our spare room,” she said while chatting with Us in October. “We stay up till 3 o’clock in the morning just watching Netflix and getting drunk and trying to have a baby.”
