Orlando Bloom Says He Wants More Kids: 'I Love Being a Dad'

Orlando Bloom isn’t done expanding his brood. The 41-year-old Thor actor was straightforward about fatherhood on Instagram when a fan asked him an intimate question on Thursday, July 19.

The actor kicked off the Q&A session on his Stories writing, “Waiting to go to set ask me a question,”

When a fan inquired if The Lord of the Rings star wanted more kids, he didn’t hold back. “Yes,” he gushed with a picture of himself grinning ear-to-ear. “I love being a dad”

The revelation is good news for Bloom’s girlfriend Katy Perry, who has been vocal about her desire to become a mom. Earlier this year, the 33-year-old American Idol judge opened up for Glamour’s March cover story about taking the leap into motherhood.

“I’m preparing myself for having a family of my own someday. And that’s the thing: I want to do a little bit more soul surgery before I have a family of my own so that I don’t transfer any of those lingering feelings,” she told the magazine. “I’m about to go heavy into that emotional process, and I’m nervous, but I don’t think I have a choice anymore.”

The “Chained to the Rhythm” songstress also dished on her wish to have children in an interview with Us Weekly in October 2016, just months after she was first linked to the British heartthrob. “Children to me are becoming a big focus,” she told Us at the time.

Us Weekly confirmed in February 2018 that the pair were back together after splitting in March 2017. Since then, the two have been spotted taking romantic vacations and getting flirty with each other on social media.

Bloom shares 7-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
