Not today, troll. Kelsea Ballerini clapped back at an Instagram user who told her to “lose some weight” after her performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Thursday, November 8.
“Hi troll. listen. first of all, I’m not a model I’m a singer,” the “Legends” crooner, 25, began on Friday, November 9. “Second of all, I’m not responding to this to give you attention because you don’t deserve that, I’m responding because I am a healthy, normal chick, which I pride myself on and work hard for, and want other young girls to see that and know that ‘skinny’ is not always the goal.”
She added: “And for you to think it’s okay to comment on my weight or size is disgusting. I’m going to get a burger now. Bye.”
Ballerini captioned the post, “Not today Satan,” and added a graphic of Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants eating a burger.
The night before, Ballerini stunned in a two looks at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show taping. On the pink carpet, she rocked a little black dress. During her performance with The Chainsmokers on the runaway, the Grammy nominee wowed in a sparkly silver mini dress.
Celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Lucy Hale and fellow country singer Carly Pearce were quick to send Ballerini love in the comments section of her post.
“Yes ma’am!!” Witherspoon wrote.
The Pretty Little Liars alum added, “Tell me sister.”
Pearce, for part, commented six gold medal emojis.
Ballerini also shared a series of photos from the VS Fashion Show on her Instagram on Thursday, including one of her eating pasta post-show. “anddddd carbs,” she quipped.
