Pregnant Kate Hudson is in the homestretch and in her own words — “so huge.” The star shared a photo of herself lounging in bed on Sunday, August 13, and had to explain to fans that she was in fact wearing bottoms.
“Yes, I am clothed here, I’m just so huge you can’t see my shorts . . . I can’t see them either,” wrote the 39-year-old Fabletics cofounder. In the image, Hudson cradles her baby bump with one hand while relaxing with CNN and a bowl of fresh watermelon chunks.
A source previously told Us Weekly that the How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days actress and her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa are due to welcome their first child together — a girl — this month. While this is the musician’s first child, Hudson has sons Ryder, 14, and Bingham, 7, from previous relationships with Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy, respectively.
Though Hudson has been craving fruit, on Sunday she was jonesing for a variety of food groups. On Instagram Story, Hudson shared a screenshot of a cheeseburger posted on Bobby Flay’s account. “@Bobbyflay I’d give anything if you could ship this west coast right now!!!” she wrote about the potato chip topped sandwich. She then let chef Michael Symon know that she was dreaming about his signature pork ribs.
Hudson and Fujikawa celebrated their one-year anniversary in December 2017. The couple had been friends for more than 15 years after meeting through his stepsisters Erin and Sara Foster. “When they say timing is everything, it’s so true,” Erin gushed to Us in April. “You’re around someone for so long . . . and you don’t think of each other in that way and then one day you look at each other differently.”
