Jessica Simpson Shows Baby Bump While Cooking Friendsgiving

Turkey on the table and a bun in the oven! Jessica Simpson invited Instagram followers into her kitchen as she prepared a Friendsgiving meal, and her ever-expanding baby bump didn’t seem to get in the way of her cooking.

“Over the weekend, I hosted my #Friendsgiving to benefit @nokidhungry,” the 38-year-old wrote in the caption to the Tuesday, November 20, post. “Like most gatherings with my girlfriends, it was filled with lots of laughing and great food.”

Simpson also said she “couldn’t have done it without help” from friends such as Martha Stewart and cookbook author Gaby Dalkin, as well as brands Green Giant and Bowen House.

“Thanks for helping me create a magical evening!” she told her helper bees, before pointing fans to her No Kid Hungry landing page: “To see how you can host your own #Friendsgiving, visit nokidhungry.org/jessica. #JessicasFriendsgiving”

Us Weekly confirmed that the former pop star and husband Eric Johnson were expecting their third child in September after she posted photos from a gender reveal on social media. “This little baby girl will make us a family of five,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”

Simpson and the former NFL tight end were “surprised but overjoyed” by the pregnancy, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that month.

“Jessica and Eric are over the moon,” the source added. “They are so happy and very excited.”

Simpson and Johnson, who married in 2014, are the parents of Maxwell, 6, and Ace, 5, both of whom are thrilled to meet for the new addition to the family, according to the source. “It’s fun because Ace and Maxwell are at an age where they understand what it happening,” the insider revealed. “They are really cute waiting for their baby sister.”
