A mini Jess is on her way! Big Brother alums Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf are expecting their first child together, a baby girl, in April 2019, and they’re already talking baby names!
“We’re gonna call her Jessica, the Second,” Nickson, 33, joked to Us Weekly exclusively while on the 2018 People’s Choice Awards red carpet on Sunday, November 11. In fact, the pair have already agreed on a name. “It’s a surprise,” he added.
Nickson and Graf, 27, met during season 20 of Big Brother. They went on to win season 30 of The Amazing Race and got engaged quickly after the show ended. They tied the knot in Malibu on October 14. However, now they’re completely focused on planning for their little one.
“She sees babies around and she’s just drawn to them. She just wants to hold them,” Nickson told Us of his wife.
The pair have been extremely busy ever since they returned from The Amazing Race – so much so that they haven’t started their nursery yet. Luckily, they have time!
“We recently bought a house this past spring, so we’ve been renovating a lot of the house and we are kind of just finishing the last touches of the house,” the model added. “So now we’re going to take a little bit of a break and tackle the nursery in January or February.”
One thing they do still make time for? Date nights.
“Tuesdays we try to go to the movies,” the former Marine said. “We like to go to the drive-in theater. We have one there in Texas, around the Dallas area, so that’s pretty cool!”
Luckily, they also have a babysitter ready for when their little one arrives. “My mom is moving to Texas, so she’s going to be a certified babysitter, so the romance stays alive,” Graf noted.
