Ready to meet her princess! Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Shamea Morton had a tutus and tiaras-themed baby shower with her Bravo costars by her side.
Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, Kandi Burruss, Sherée Whitfield and the two new RHOA cast members — Shamari DeVoe and Tanya Sam— were all in attendance.
Us Weekly broke the the news in May that Shamea is pregnant with her first child with her husband, Gerald Mwangi. Two months later, the 36-year-old reality TV personality revealed she’s expecting a girl. Shamea tells Us that the pair are planning to name their firstborn Shya Nyambura.
“It is Kenyan from my husband’s tribe. His mother’s name was Nyambura, so the way it is customarily you have to name the first daughter after your mother-in-law and first son after your father-in-law,” she tells Us exclusively. “After that, then it goes to my side of the family. His mom was an amazing woman and I want to pay homage to her and remember her through my daughter.”
