How Porsha Williams' Real Housewives of Atlanta Costars Reacted to News of Her Pregnancy

The cat’s finally out of the bag!

On Sunday’s Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Williams, 37, finally spilled the good news of her pregnancy to costars Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Shamari DeVoe, Eva Marcille, Tanya Sam and Marlo Hampton — and they couldn’t have been more excited.

The big moment came after a group lunch during the group’s trip to Tokyo.

BFF NeNe Leakes, who already knew about Williams’ big secret, helped kicked things off. “Attention everyone. Porsha and I are going to play a little game,” Leakes told the crowd, setting the stage for Williams.

Then, Williams took over. “I’m going to first teach y’all something to say in Japanese,” she said, going on to get the ladies to repeat the phrase, “ninshin chuu.”

All did before asking what it meant. “It means… I’m pregnant!” Williams shouted, rubbing her belly. “My baby is coming!”

Some in the group weren’t so surprised. “I knew Porsha was pregnant,” DeVoe boasted, noting that she wasn’t drinking and was detoxing.

“Honestly, I don’t know how long Porsha was going to be able to hide it because she is definitely popping, front and back, at this point,” said Bailey, laughing.

Hampton — who had previously suspected — also boasted about how she “knew [Porsha] was with child.”

But the rest of the crew all cheered with excitement. “All shade aside, Porsha’s going to be a real good mom,” said Marcille, a mother of two herself.

“For years now, Porsha’s wanted to be married and have a baby,” Leakes had previously said. “This is going to change Porsha’s life, from the Hennessy to the baby bottle. It’s on!”

Even Burruss, who has had a longstanding feud with Williams, wished her “congratulations” on Sunday’s episode. “I am super excited for Porsha right now because regardless of my opinions and thoughts about her relationship, I am happy that she is finally going to be able to be a mother,” she said.

Previously, Williams had tried to throw her RHOA castmates off her trail during a trip to Destin, Florida, dumping a bottle of Hennessy and filling it with Coca-Cola and orange juice.

“I’ve decided not to tell the girls about the pregnancy now because it’s just a scary thing if you’ve ever dealt with a miscarriage before,” she said. “So to me, it’s not going to be real, real, real until I go to the first appointment and everything’s okay.”

“I have to resort to tricking them,” Williams added. “I’ve been known to like to have fun and have me a cocktail sometimes. So to make this happen, I am having to breathe in and breathe out and poor good, fresh Hennessy [out]. This is tough. This is a test. I really have to mix this potion up just right.”

Williams did a great job and fooled the rest of her cast when she pulled out the bottle on the last night of their trip. “It’s the last night. I know I haven’t had anything to drink with you ladies, but I thought I would do a little something,” she said.

“It’s just one lie against another,” she told the audience. “But they eating it up so ladies and gentleman, that’s how it’s done!”

“Dammit, I thought Porsha was with child,” Hampton said. “I hope she’s not drinking Hennessy with child.”

“We were wrong,” admitted Bailey. “The only thing that Porsha’s having is Hennessy. She’s not having a baby. The bottle don’t lie.”

Williams is expecting her first child, a girl, with fiancé Dennis McKinley.

She revealed the news to PEOPLE exclusively in September, explained that the pregnancy — which was a surprise for her and McKinley — had only strengthened their bond.

“The pregnancy came from the left, but it definitely has brought us closer together because you realize when it sets in that you are actually bringing a life to this world, that you have become family overnight,” revealed the co-host of Dish Nation.

“So now a lot of the things that we had talked about are a reality, and we work really hard at wanting to be a good couple and build a strong foundation for our new family that we’re going to have,” Williams said.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
